Salama Pads, is a Product of WomenChoice Industries, a social enterprises that Manufacture and distributes high quality low priced and and long lasting period hygiene management reusable Sanitary towels to women and girls from low resource settings in Tanzania, Established as of April 2015 and finally registered under the Company business name registration Act 2013 of the United Republic of Tanzania, acquiring registration number 441223 as of April 2018

The Enterprises activities are run and managed by a team of staff led by the Co-founder & CEO, and overseen by the Board of Directors ,a Planning, policy, decision making ,and disciplinary organ of the enterprises, The Board of Directors sits on quarterly basis or at any time of the day ,to deliberate on key development issues affecting the busines.

Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer WomenChoice Industries, Ms. Odiwa is a Health service Practitioner, Sexual Reproductive Health Activist, Menstrual hygiene management advocate with over 15+ years’ experience in health service practice and has an experience working with community and feminists’ societies at the bottom of pyramid across Eastern Africa Region.

Just peoples of New Zealand and Australia provides access to micro capital and grants financing to Salama Pads Product distribution , supporting women and girl’s social economic empowerment, and expanding girls in schools access to low cost, affordable reusable sanitary towels, establishing menstrual hygiene management information and care products hubs and facilities in schools in Mkinga Dstrict Council, Tanzania. -
